Almost every day, I get an email from a client or friend asking if I know anyone who'd be good for a role they're trying to fill.

There is a real satisfaction to answering these questions well. Get a recommendation right and someone I think highly of might end up somewhere they're happy for the next five years, or more.

It is also a terrible system. It requires me to hold a running mental list of everyone currently looking, cross-referenced against everyone currently hiring. Even more importantly, the right person for the job is frequently someone I've simply never met.

To answer these questions more effectively, we launched the Whiteboard Job Board — collecting all the top jobs in education in one place. As of this morning, 3,413 roles from 327 organizations serving the early childhood, K-12, higher ed, and workforce markets, both nonprofit and for-profit. Free for all job-seekers. 

The early results have been encouraging. Almost 15,000 people visited the board in August, and our open roles picked up another 30,000 impressions on LinkedIn.
